[Error: unknown template qotd]I'm late on answering this one, but I'm going to have to go with Jo. Amy was spoiled and brattish until after Beth died. Jo is stubborn, impetuous, overdramatic, and has a really hard time dealing with "society." But she's loving, generous, kind, intelligent, and stays true to herself.

And I hated that stupid movie with Winona Ryder and Christian Bale. Jo would NEVER make out with a guy - at the opera or anywhere else. I know Hollywood lurves to "update" old books and movies, but that was ridiculous. Almost as bad as making Caspian and Susan fall in love with each other and say a long, lingering goodbye at the end. Blurgh!

Caspian & Susan falling in love with each other?

Oh FFS! I knew there was a reason I don't often go to see the movie version of a brilliant book.

Oh, yes... There wasn't much except for longing looks and a few words here and there but I yelled, gesturing wildly on the way back to the car. Plus, there was no romp!
