Dentisty goodness
Apr. 9th, 2009 03:21 pmSo I went to my appointment all shaky and scared - and still dizzy from the painkillers. I had to wait a bit, but before long, I was ensconced in the chair, waiting to be attacked with sharp instruments. Which didn't happen. The dentist came over, started poking around, and told me there was nothing wrong with that tooth. But one of my top molars has a super deep cavity and that's probably what was bothering me. So they sent me off to get my whole mouth x-rayed and sure enough, the cavity is exposing the nerve. But by that time, my time from work was almost up, so I had to schedule an appointment, and it's almost a month away. They told me they'd call me if something opens up.
The antibiotics and painkillers are helping, though. I feel much better and I hope I can get a full night's sleep tonight. I'm going to buy some ibuprofen to use after the vicodin runs out because this stuff makes me feel awful.
