On a whim, I decided to take a look at Aria_star's IVF blog. She says she lost one of the fetuses. I have a really hard time believing she is pregnant, but I feel bad for her, even if I dislike her immensely. She's messed up her body so bad with anorexia and weight loss surgery that it would be nigh impossible for her to carry full term.

uhhhhhhhhg. I don't see why she can't just adooooooooopt. (I know, it's expensive and time consuming too but uuuuuuuuuhg)

She would never in a million years be approved--she has an active eating disorder.

how awful. I wonder why people who continually lose babies over and over continue to try and get pregnant? We lost two pregnancies and it was so hard, I wasn't sure I wanted to try and get pregnant again...I can't imagine doing it THAT many times. I understand adoption isn't for everyone, but why put yourself through all the torture of getting pregnant only to lose them :(

I doubt adoption is even an option for aria_star. She has so many issues, I doubt she'd be approved for any adoption program.

I feel really bad for her, TBH. No one deserves that kind of pain, even if they are a shitty seamstress.

Huh what? Weight loss surgery makes it so you can't carry full term?

Not necessarily, but it makes pregancy riskier. And it's harder to get the nutrition needed for baby and mom.

I didn't realize that but I did know it fails most of the time. That and everyone I've known who had it have so many problems as a result.

One of my moms old nurses had it done and they'd left a needle in her.

Of course she would have had problems anyway since she was a freaking whackjob (the nurse not Aria. Though Aria is too)

i had similar problems in my pregnancies. i dont have weight loss surgery but i have a medical condition that basically gives me a form of anorexia as a side effect (i have serious trouble eating during certain times and on certain meds. when i went off my meds fully i couldn't eat at all) and gaining the pregnancy weight was so hard. with zane I was on bedrest for like 7months because they were worried i wasn't gaining enough. also feeding tubes during pregnancy = 7 levels of hell. part of the reason that i chose to carry to term when i was so young was that there is absolutely no way i could carry to term now. even by 25 the chances that i would miscarry and/or die were extremely high.

I was trying to google info, but a lot of stuff I found was colored by the OMG! OBESITY EPIDEMIC! bs. Mostly along the lines of "less likely to have gestational diabetes and preeclampsia" which is ridiculous. They can't predict who's likely to get either of those.

There's a blog called the well rounded mama that has a lot of info on obesity and pregnancy.

I just can't find it in myself to be sympatheteic to her. For other people, I would be, but Aria_star and her history? Yeah, searching, searching, searching... and can't find an ounce of care.

I'm not sure if she was really truly anorexic. That is probably because I have a hard time believing people like her (who lies a lot, or at least stretches the truth extensively). She just seems to thrive on that sort of attention with all the stories she tells.

I can't bring myself to feel sorry for her, mostly because of what [livejournal.com profile] blk_n_blu_dream said.

I feel terrible to hear when anyone loses a baby, even internet weirdos like aria_star and ladygaia. It's a sad thing.

I don't ever know which things aria_star says are lies and which are truth, but she's been so obsessed with babies for so long (from weddingplans) I wonder if the desire to have children and the whole IVF thing isn't actually the truth.
