It's all set up - Ben starts daycare on Monday. This makes me fidgety because he's being very bad and needy today and I wish he could go NOW. Bren's office assigned new lunch hours today and he won't be home until 1 - which is around Ben's naptime. Sigh.

Bren's mom told him she wants to chip in for his daycare. My initial reaction was, "rawr, rawr, I can pay for my own children even if I kill myself doing it. rawr," but now I'm being more sensible - we could use the help and I can still work some more overtime and pay down my debt and save for the car. It bothers me that I sometimes react in such a negative way to Bren's mom and sister. For the most part, they have been very kind and accepting of Katie and me. It's just the little things - comments about my weight and our worthiness to have a honeymoon, the seeming uncaring of my feelings, and "ownership" of Ben - that add up to something much bigger in my mind.
