Well, the fever, chills, and aches are gone, leaving behind a bunch of snot and a hacking cough. It took my voice, though.

Ben didn't come home last night, either. When I was taking my afternoon nap, Bren's mom called and said she wanted to keep Ben until at least one of us was all better. Bren said yes, and then didn't tell me until I asked him when Ben was coming home around 7 pm. Sigh.

They may be gunning for me at work now. There is a glitch in the new system where things are sitting in the review queue sometimes for months and will all of a sudden pop up to be reviewed. The glitch was discovered when I reviewed the first case, which had been sitting there since December 17. I got it on February 20, apparently. When it happened, my boss said it was no big deal, but now upper management is involved and I don't know what's going to happen. I honestly don't remember ever seeing the case, but they stuck it in my face that Monday and it has my name on it. I don't want to get fired. I just passed the 6 year mark. I'm just going to plug along and back away from the internet for a few days.
