It's starting to rain again. Thunder is rumbling and big fat drops are hitting the office window. 15 minutes of work left and I am itching to turn off this stupid computer.

I've done a little online searching this afternoon for mattresses and they're ridiculously expensive. Even at Big Lots it'll cost me $400. Maybe I'll drive around a little bit and see what I can find.

I made banana muffins last night. They're moist and sweet and it's very hard not to eat the whole batch in one sitting.

Tonight starts the Torchwood:COE miniseries on BBC America. I've tried to be careful and not spoil myself, but I accidentally saw something upsetting about Ianto. I hope I won't be crying as hard as I was over the season finale.

sometimes mattress stores have a big sale where they sell mismatched mattresses and boxsprings for cheaper...maybe there is one going on now?

Yeah, mattress = expensive, WTF! Mine was used, though the sellers said it was used in a guestroom and slept in twice. Maybe craigslist?
